Lost Souls have ensured today is a Good Friday indeed with the release of their new single “Letter of Resignation”, lifted from their debut album, Lore, available to stream everywhere now!
“Letter of Resignation” is an anthem for the fed-up, a rally cry for the overworked and it just might have you flipping desks and chucking printers out the window by the final chorus. Leaning into the frustrations of office life, Lost Souls take aim at the small absurdities that add up – passive aggressive corporate jargon, meetings that should’ve been an email, rigid punctuality and the surreal idea that grown adults still need permission to use the bathroom.
The accompanying music video drops the band into their own fluorescent-lit cubicle hell before they tear it down in glorious rebellion.
Lost Souls debut album Lore is a love letter to the stories that shaped them. Drawing deeply from the rich mythologies of Star Wars, X-Men, Attack on Titan and Magic: The Gathering, the band weaves their own lore into a cinematic, emotionally charged record that marks a pivotal moment in their history.

“Oh my God, finally! It feels like we’ve been sitting on this for so long and we’ve been dying to unleash it. We’re so proud of this album and feel like it represents us as a band but individually perfectly,” shares Kev (vocals) earnestly.
“I knew people would obviously calling out album of the year but to have people saying it before it’s even released is insane, not even I could have anticipated that.
