In just ten tracks, 311 deliver a knockout punch. This album is a reminder that these veteran rockers still know how to rock.

Kicking off with the lead single was a very wise choice. The track’s eerie guitar riff, courtesy of Tim Mahoney, is a refreshing change of pace and creates an intriguing atmosphere. Nick Hexum’s strong vocal performance, particularly the opening lines “See it coming like a train in the distance,” immediately grabs the listener’s attention. This powerful opener sets the tone for the rest of the album.
“Need Somebody” continues the momentum, building on the success of the opener. P-Nut’s thunderous basslines and Tim Mahoney’s signature guitar work create a powerful foundation for the song. The title track, “Full Bloom,” follows suit with its infectious melodies and positive message. The lyrics, particularly the verse about unity, highlight 311’s enduring commitment to connecting with their fans.

After a powerful start, “Friend” offers a more reflective moment, with Hexum’s heartfelt lyrics expressing the band’s enduring connection with their fans. “Mountain Top” quickly shifts the mood, delivering a funky, bass-driven groove that showcases the band’s dynamic range. Hexum’s captivating vocals and Martinez’s innovative vocal effects highlight the band’s continued evolution.

“New Heights” is a melodic masterpiece that will have you singing along in no time. Hexum’s heartfelt lyrics about life and legacy are both poignant and inspiring. “Days Go By” is a classic 311 tune that’s sure to please longtime fans. And the fact that it’s exactly 3:11 long? That’s just a cherry on top.

“Persimmon” is a hidden gem that’s sure to surprise and delight. Mahoney’s dreamy guitar work and Hexum’s thought-provoking lyrics create a mesmerizing atmosphere. “All You’ve Seen” is a chill, feel-good tune that will have you singing along. “Braver” is a high-energy track that showcases the band’s versatility. Martinez’s unique vocals and the band’s powerful harmonies make for a truly unforgettable ending.
