Sydney metalcore quartet Harroway share new single Heresy just in time to share it live later this month on tour with Sienna Skies and No Home (US). Tickets on sale now!

Taking a deep dive into the mind of vocalist Matt BanksHeresy sees Harroway explore a desire to escape from emotional pain and suffering. Banks pleads for relief, projecting undertones of existential questioning and a longing for peace or oblivion. Pulling from his experience living with Hemochromatosis, a disorder where the body creates excessive amounts of iron and becomes toxic, the single comes with a swirling sense of self resignation as Banks grapples with existential crisis, mental anguish, and the search for a meaning.

The scathing single is produced, mixed and mastered by Mark Williamson at Keywork Audio (Inertia, Closure, Revoid) with a chaotic and claustrophobic music video produced and directed by Lexi Markovic.

Harroway offer vulnerable truths through their music and seek to connect with their audiences in a live capacity. The band will embark on a national tour supporting metalcore legends Sienna Skies and No Home this April and May, with tickets moving fast. The tour will move through Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth, taking support from local openers in each city. Adelaide and Sydney shows have sold out, all available tickets on sale here.

Beginning their journey in 2019, Harroway have jumped from strength to strength since their inception. Unveiling their debut EP ‘I Don’t Want to Be Here Anymore last year, the release marked a milestone in the bands career, seeing them sell out their Australian EP launch headliner shortly after it dropped.

The band has since stepped up to support renowned international acts We Came as Romans (USA), Invent Animate (USA), and Crossfaith (JAP) as well as Australian heavyweights Make Them SufferOcean SleeperWindwaker and more.

Harroway has grown to boast over a million digital streams, and counting, across various platforms. They sit close to 9,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, with their music collecting adds to editorial playlists All New Metal, Homegrown + Heavy and New Blood. They’ve been heard on the triple j airwaves and community radio stations across the nation and were coined: “One of the best new talents in the scene” by Wall of Sound in 2022.

Harroway remain steadfast in their belief in their craft and seek to share their passion with audiences from all corners. Heresy is available and streaming now on all platforms.
