The Everblack Podcast sat down with Brendon Small to discuss Dethklok’s long-awaited Australian tour, working with legendary drummer Gene Hoglan, touring with Babymetal, the show’s massive impact on fans, and what’s next for Metalocalypse!

Watch/listen to the interview here:

Created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha, the band is portrayed as the most successful and influential heavy metal band in the world, despite their chaotic and often absurd antics. The members of Dethklok—Nathan Explosion, Skwisgaar Skwigelf, Toki Wartooth, William Murderface, and Pickles—are caricatures of typical metal stereotypes, and the show humorously explores their exaggerated personalities and the extreme consequences of their fame.

Dethklok is known for combining brutal, high-energy metal with the dark humor and bizarre situations from the show.
