Having returned home after an extensive 7 weeks in Europe, Brisbane rockers PistonFist are set to hit the road this February in support of their latest single Repent
Repent takes aim at those who abuse their power, especially when it comes to looking after society’s most vulnerable people, children. Armed with massive riffs, gravel strained vocals and super slick lead breaks, Repent is bound to make you want to round up a few people you know who need to answer for their sins.
The band comment “Repent is all about the people that are meant to be looking after kids that can’t look after or fend for themselves. The people that are in places of power, that should be protecting, helping and nurturing. When these children should be in a safe place where they feel comfortable and these people take advantage of their power, take advantage of these kids, and cause harm to these kids. They need to Repent!”
PistonFist are road hardened and more determined than ever to bring their hard-hitting high-energy show to the east coast this summer.
Having finished the year off at the Brisbane leg of ‘Munk and Petal’ to stellar reviews, it’s clear the pistons are firing, and punters are in for a treat when they grace the stage down south.

“The percussion had prodigious purpose, pounding with alacrity, filling the room. The guitar work had real bite, with the two guitars interlocking seamlessly throughout. With rollicking rhythms and salubrious solos, there was something for everyone. The bass pounded harder than the stereo in a Honda Civic in western Sydney, often earthquake-like in its presence.
