AHLES Drops New Single “Product” on January 26

Brisbane-based metal band AHLES, featuring prominent members from the local metal scene, is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated new single “Product” on January 26, 2025. The band, formed in early 2024, consists of Ian Ahles (Born From The Ashes, Dragonsmead) on guitar and vocals, Alix Bandiera (Born From The Ashes, Puncture Wound) on drums, William Towne on guitar and vocals, and Monash Lal on bass and occasional flute.

The band’s debut album, Between Dreams and the Waking World, recorded between September and October of 2024, is slated for release in 2025. The album promises a diverse blend of metal, classical guitar, lute, and folk influences, featuring intricate twin flutes alongside face-melting riffs. AHLES introduced their sound with the release of their first single, “Will Nothing Grow,” in November 2024.

“Product,” the second single from the upcoming album, follows a foreboding intro before launching into an intense, high-energy anthem about staying true to oneself in a world that seeks conformity. The track showcases fiery riffs, powerful drums, thumping bass, and blistering guitar leads, all tied together with dynamic time changes and polyrhythms.

To celebrate the release, AHLES will host a single launch show at Tribe Clubhouse in Redcliffe on Saturday, February 1. They will be joined by The Night of The Living Deadbeats and Necrostasis for an electrifying night of metal. Doors open at 5pm, and entry is free.

Fans can expect a raw and powerful performance as AHLES continues to make their mark on the Brisbane metal scene.

“Product” will be available on January 26, 2025 through your favourite streaming platform.
