The 7 headed Canadian Deathcore beast ANGELMAKER are headed to Australia in February in support of SYLOSIS!
ANGELMAKER levels listeners with furious, focused, and quite frankly, violent extremity, creating deathcore of the highest order – injected with blackened thrash, a smattering of power violence, and the urgent ferocity of underground hardcore. They summon the most brutal elements of Floridian death metal and combine it with the coldest permafrost of Scandinavian black metal, without the need for theatrical gimmicks that sometimes clouding the genre.
The Everblack Podcast spoke to Casey Tyson–Pearce from Angelmaker about their upcoming Australian Tour with Sylosis, working with vocalist Ian Bearer (ex-Rings of Saturn), releasing new music, touring with The Black Dahlia Murder and more.

ANGELMAKER was formed in 2011 with vocalists Casey Tyson-Pearce and Mike Greenwood, guitarists Cody Tyson-Pearce and Colton Bennett, bassist Cole Rideout, and drummer Jesse Price. In September 2012, the band self-released their debut EP Decay, which featured six tracks and a collaboration with Darian Mazloomi of Argent Strand. Later that year, they released a 3-way split EP with Lament and Isolations. In 2014, guitarist Cody Tyson-Pearce departed, and Matt Perrin, formerly of Threat Signal, joined the band.
In 2015, ANGELMAKER released their debut studio album Dissentient, followed by the split EP Unholy Alliance in 2016, a collaboration with Australian deathcore band A Night in Texas. 2017 marked their first headlining U.S. tour, supported by Falsifier, and the band won a fan contest to open for the Summer Slaughter Tour. Their self-titled sophomore album was released in 2019.
In 2020, Johnny Ciardullo was added as a third guitarist. The band released Sanctum in 2022 and toured with new drummer Steven Sanchez. Between late 2022 and early 2023, they released covers of songs by As Blood Runs Black, Job for a Cowboy, and The Black Dahlia Murder.
In 2024, Ian Bearer (former vocalist of Rings of Saturn) replaced Mike Greenwood as co-lead vocalist. On October 24, the band released Relinquished, their first single featuring Bearer.
