EvilEye Release New Single ‘Malevolent’ from their third EP ‘Graves for Slaves’

Australian sludge-metal band EvilEye have dropped a groovy stoner-esque track titled “Malevolent” to pleasure your earholes with as they kick off the new year.
The band plans to drip feed 5 new tracks in coming months including a reboot of an oldie from their first self-titled EP.
When we recorded our first EP back in 2014 we wanted ‘raw and dirty’ so we flew to Melbourne and recorded with Jason PC at Goatsound studios. We were really happy with that but for this one, we wanted to really try and polish our turds a bit, so we went with Carpo at Core Studios, because he really adds some finesse with his production. We wanted something a bit more modern and polished. That’s a really polarising concept for most sludge/stoner fans who want raw dirty 70’s rock tones, but when it comes down to it, the truth is we’re just garden variety metalheads and wanted a solid modern metal record. Each track is very different, from stoner to sludge to straight up thrash and even some grind. We’re really proud of how this first track came out. It’s loaded with riffs and we really hope y’all can enjoy a hot one and stick it in your earholes.”
