Swedish alternative metalcore band IMMINENCE has made a name for itself by blending classical string arrangements with the raw power of Scandinavian metal, pushing the boundaries of the genre. Fronted by vocalist and violinist Eddie Berg, alongside guitarists Harald Barrett and Alex Arnoldsson, drummer Peter Hanström, and bassist Christian Höijer, the band released The Black on April 12th, a critically acclaimed album that has thrust them into the spotlight.
With their singles The Black, Come Hell or High Water, Desolation, Heaven Shall Burn, and Death by a Thousand Cuts amassing millions of streams, IMMINENCE has also seen rapid growth on social media. Their debut North American tour in December 2023 sold out in 48 hours, and their first leg of The Black Tour in the U.S. was a massive success.
The band continues to build momentum after the release of Heaven In Hiding’s Deluxe Edition and viral Live In Studio recordings, gaining over 100,000 new followers. With five studio albums, over 250 million streams, and nearly 900,000 monthly Spotify listeners, IMMINENCE’s global tour continues. After sold-out European shows and supporting In Flames in 2022, they’ll return to Europe in October 2024 and Scandinavia in February 2025, alongside major festival appearances in Summer 2024.
