Drawing inspiration from metalcore giants like Trivium, Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage, and Bullet For My Valentine, Engraved combines intricate instrumentation and commanding lyrics with a distinct early 2000s metalcore vibe. This sound has helped them establish a loyal following across Australia since the release of their debut EP, Unleashed, in 2022. With over 100,000 streams, Unleashed earned them a spot on the cover of HEAVY Magazine, where Editor Kris Peters praised their work as “a heavy slab of brutality layered with melodic contrast showcasing the talent and diversity within this emerging five piece.”
Following the success of Unleashed, Engraved have been busy, performing at HEAVY Magazine’s 10th anniversary shows and touring with renowned local acts such as Krave and ANA.
Now, with XMusic behind them and a new album slated for 2025, the boys are poised to become icons of the Australian metalcore landscape.
