Hailing from Brisbane, All That’s Left is a solo metalcore project from Alison Jane that blends heavy elements with beautiful orchestral layers and intricate production.
Drawing inspiration from bands like The Amity Affliction, Ice Nine Kills, Polaris, Falling In Reverse, Make Them Suffer, and Slaughter To Prevail, All That’s Left has been described as ‘female Amity’ and ‘female Bad Omens’.
The musician has just unveiled her debut single, ‘Fade Away’ which showcases how deceiving her ‘girl next door’ looks are when it comes to her brutal screams. Written, performed and produced by Alison Jane, her mentor Ricky Armellino (Ice Nine Kills, HAWK, ex-This Or The Apocalypse) was involved with additional production, and Randy Slaugh (The Amity Affliction, Periphery, Caskets) was responsible for the arrangement and composition.
Featuring Mitchell Fogarty’s (Alpha Wolf) drum programming, Jesse Abdurazak’s (The Gloom In The Corner) mastering, and additional vocals by Thomas Pirozzi (Sienna Skies), the debut single has a collective of skilled personnel that is reflected in the track itself. Touching on the topics of mental health, the song was written to express the constant internal battle those with depression and anxiety deal with.
Most recently known for her vocals on The Amity Affliction’s Pittsburgh (Redux), ‘Fade Away’ provided the perfect opportunity to highlight the other side of her vocals.
