BATMAN” – LIVE IN CONCERT EXPERIENCE HEADS TO AUSTRALIA AS WARNER BROS. DISCOVERY CELEBRATES 85 YEARS OF BATMAN

TCG and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment today announced the epic “Batman” – Live In Concert experience will tour Australia from October 2024 through January 2025, presented by TEG Life Like Touring.

“Batman” – Live in Concert is part of a global tour that brings the Warner Bros. Pictures’ 1989 blockbuster film directed by Tim Burton to symphony halls around the globe as part of the DC
in Concert series. The tour arrives in Australia as Warner Bros. Discovery celebrates 85 Years of Batman throughout 2024.

Fans who attend will enjoy the film projected onto a larger-than-life screen while Danny Elfman’s iconic musical score is performed by a live orchestra. As well as an enhanced concert experience, there will also be spectacular stage lighting, post-event autographs, merchandise sales, and more. Attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favourite DC Super Hero or Super-Villain.

To date the celebration of the film’s 35th anniversary has seen the global tour commence in Los Angeles at the Dolby Theater, before making 18 stops across cities in the U.S. and Europe.

Released June 23, 1989, Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Batman” was the top-grossing film that year and has remained a fan-favourite for more than three decades. The film was composer Danny Elfman’s first collaboration with director Tim Burton and the score was later nominated for a Grammy award. Elfman’s “Batman Theme” has become an iconic piece, evoking the DC Super Hero for many generations.
