Super Fun Down Under announce Japan Tour & new single Destiny

Anata wa boku no unmei no hitoda (あなたは僕の運命の人だ) translates to You Are My Destiny!

DESTINY is the new single from Australian ElectroPunk band Super Fun Down Under, it pays homage to both their Japanese fans and as a love song written by the band’s singer Guy and his fiancé Loustar.

Loustar is the musical queen from Electronica rap group Banks of the Beautiful. The two met at Big Day Out 2009 as producer and artist and have since collaborated on life together.

The hard-hitting electro punk single Destiny has been a crowd favourite on tour throughout Tokyo, Osaka and Kobe and never fails to amp up audiences. With both Guy and Jake on vocals, the band was joined on stage by Loustar during their 2023 Japan tour. The aggressive punk vocals and guitars, grinding drum and bass synths and high energy delivery is typical of Super Fun Down Under shows and this single marks the start of the bands new album content with a new single delivered every month until mid 2025.

Whats more beautiful than a love song between a punk and his electronica rap queen?
Nothing! haha, who is your destiny?

Super Fun Down Under as the name suggests is all about having fun with their music and bringing that energy to the crowds and venues they perform at. The Gold Coast band is set to tour Japan again this year in August Sept with 9 shows across Tokyo, Osaka and Kobe with a couple of local Australian shows before and after. Head to their website www.superfundownunder.com to check out tour dates or give the new single a spin on streaming platforms from July 26th.
