Australian grindcore project CrisisAct is back with a vengeance and deliver their second offering Friday November 24th, 2023. “Artificial Noose” will be released digitally and on limited edition 7″ vinyl through Dead Set Records / Bloodblast Distribution / Direct Merch. After the positive feedback from their first EP “Turn It Off”, the group featuring Joe Haley and Dave Haley of Psycroptic, and Matt Young of King Parrot, have delivered another short, sharp blast of intense extreme metal with the first single and video for the song “Swathed in Skin and Scum” out now for your grinding and viewing pleasures.
The Haley brothers are well reknowned as world class musicians and have forged a strong legacy across the globe with their band Psycroptic. They have also been part of numerous projects in the heavy realms over the years, too many to mention in fact, but when they decided to create a new grindcore outfit, they called upon longtime friend Matt Young of King Parrot to handle vocal duties. This combination of musicians creates a sound that you can almost imagine before hearing it, and CrisisAct delivers some of the most intense and brutal grindcore to come out of Australia in years.
