The track strikes the listener with lyrics that explore the tumultuous emotions surrounding a painful experience of parental abandonment, delivering a powerful message – the desire to sever all ties and leave no room for reconciliation, even after they attempt to re-enter your life.
The song also features a vocal contribution from Dylan Davidson of Deadlights in a heavier context than we’ve previously heard him, perfectly contrasting the deeper vocal expression of Deathbeds vocalist David Mulvaney.
