DEATHBEDS UNLEASH NEW SINGLE ‘NO CALLER ID’

Canberra-based metalcore heavy-hitters Deathbeds return, with their latest emotionally and sonically visceral undertaking, “No Caller ID”. The track strikes the listener with lyrics that explore the tumultuous emotions surrounding a painful experience of parental abandonment, delivering a powerful message – the desire to sever all ties and leave no room for reconciliation, even after they attempt to re-enter your life.

The song also features a vocal contribution from Dylan Davidson of Deadlights in a heavier context than we’ve previously heard him, perfectly contrasting the deeper vocal expression of Deathbeds vocalist David Mulvaney. The two make short work of capturing the essence of the confronting and honest lyrical content of No Caller ID.

Adding to the experience, the band saw themselves working with Chris Zagas of Neckup Collective, known for his work with bands the likes of To The Grave, Honest Crooks and The beautiful Monument. In this video viewers are plunged into a realm of nightmarish imagery that perfectly mirrors that amplifies the emotional narrative of the musical piece.

Deathbeds stands as a commanding force in the vibrant Canberra-based metalcore scene, renowned for their relentless energy and emotionally charged musical prowess. Their 2020 release, “God’s Way is My Way,” has garnered an impressive 700,000 plays, showcasing their resonance with a dedicated audience. Sharing stages with Australian heavyweights like Northlane and receiving plays on Aussie radio station Triple J is just the beginning of their journey.

Committed to pushing the boundaries of their craft and conveying profound messages through their art, Deathbeds consistently cements their presence in the expansive heavy music landscape.
