The Blue Mountains based metalcore crew formed in the second half of 2021 bursting onto the scene with their initial single “Forever Know My Name” and have since hit the ground running, booking their own shows across the east coast.
Their DIY approach and strong work ethic has seen them support prominent international artists Darkest Hour and Unearth and appear at number of festivals including Canberra Metal fest, Winter Magic Revival Festival and Borderline Destruction.
There are no signs of Naugrim slowing down; the band’s debut EP is set to be released on Friday the 10th of November. Musically “Adversity” presents a blend of classic metalcore riffs, fast paced blast beats with a sprinkle of melodic doom solos.
Lyrically it explores a number of subjects around dealing with depression and isolation while overcoming addiction and being able to make it through to the other side.
“Adversity was a medium to reflect on and deal with my own past discretions from a third prospective and to acknowledge how time can change things”

Following the release of “Adversity” Naugrim plan to hit the road and play the east coast and regional centres.
