Isaac Brock from MODEST MOUSE recently spoke to The Everblack Podcast about their current Daydream Festival tour in Australia, their latest album “The Golden Casket,” the 20th anniversary of “Good News for People Who Love Bad News” next year, their songwriting process for the next record, and more.
Indie-rock royalty Modest Mouse will be bringing their cult favourites, including “Float On” and “Dashboard”, as well as other classics from their impressive discography, which includes hits from the revered album “The Lonesome Crowded West”, that celebrated its 25th anniversary last year.
In addition, Modest Mouse will also perform tracks from their seventh-studio album, “The Golden Casket”. This is their first new record in six years and it explores the degradation of America’s psychic landscape through the lens of the smartphone screen. According to NME, the album is “a psychedelic pop masterwork that rekindles the positivity they first offered.”
