‘DELOREAN’ launches into action with a powerful onslaught of electrifying guitars and multifarious drums, with subtle electronics underlaying the intense mix. The melodic range of vocalist Luke Taylor guides the track effortlessly through a tempest of energy, accentuated with a domineering hook and brought to life through adept production. Maintaining momentum throughout an intertwining structure, ‘DELOREAN’ divulges the depth of Heartline’s capabilities in a fresh, innovative performance.
Heartline explain the meaning behind ‘DELOREAN’:
“‘DELOREAN’ is about simply searching for a time machine to go back and prevent COVID from ever happening. This track is just meant to be fun and unite listeners as everyone shares a similar longing to rewrite the last couple of years.”
To celebrate the release, Heartline will be embarking on their first national tour supporting Australian progressive metal group Circles, alongside The Omnific and Future Static, performing in capital cities such as Naarm/Melbourne, Tarndanya/Adelaide, Meanjin/Brisbane, Eora/Sydney and Ngunnawal/Canberra. This comes off the back of joining Destroy All Lines and recently sharing the stage with Thy Art Is Murder, Gravemind, Windwaker, Void of Vision, Deadlights, The Gloom In The Corner, Belle Haven, Pridelands, Bloom and Holding Absence (UK).
Previous releases from Heartline have seen support from the likes of triple j Unearthed, MANIACS, Milky and The Alt Club (UK). The band have also seen radio play from PBS FM, 4ZZZ, Edge Radio and Radio Adelaide.
Heartline are firmly establishing themselves as an exciting and promising act in Australia’s heavy music scene, culminating a devoted fanbase from playing capacity rooms across the country, and syndicating a multitude of elements from the genres of metalcore and pop into their diverse sound.
